This Christmas, the Galeón Andalucía and the Nao Santa María invite you to enjoy a unique experience aboard two historical replicas representing the great ships used in the 16th to 18th centuries for expeditions of discovery and trade routes between Spain, America and the Philippines. The Nao Santa María is also the iconic ship that played a leading role in the voyage of discovery of America.

In La Navidad de los Exploradores (The Explorers' Christmas), you will tour both ships on a self-guided walk, moving freely around their decks, chatting with the current crew and discovering what life was like on the high seas. On board you will find exhibitions, historical re-enactments, projections and documents that will immerse you in the spirit of exploration.

The Galeón Andalucía is a replica of the ship used by the Spanish during the 16th to 18th centuries in the maritime expeditions of discovery and inter-oceanic trade between Spain, America and the Philippines in the so-called fleets of the Indies.

The visit to the Galleon consists of a self-guided walking tour. Once on board, you are free to stroll around its decks, talk to the actual crew members (real sailors living on board), and contemplate dozens of interactive exhibits, videos, projections and historical documents. Photos are allowed.

Location: Marina de Valencia (Next to the pergola)

• Adults (> 10 years old): 10€

The Nao Santa María is one of humanity's most famous ships. On 12 October 1492, captained by Christopher Columbus, it was the protagonist of one of the most important milestones in history: the Discovery of America, the encounter between two worlds that changed the course of universal history.

The visit consists of a self-guided tour of the 4 decks of the Santa Maria, where you will find information panels with the history of the ship, ornamental elements of the time and talk to the crew to feel how Spanish sailors lived 500 years ago.
